The XXV edition of the “Rassegna Corale Levantese” continues in Levanto, with a polyphonic and vocal concert featuring the Collegium Vocale Immacolata from Genova directed by Francesco Lambruschini, with the collaboration of organist Nicolò Scudieri.
Collegium Immacolata
Composed of 35 choristers, all from significant musical and polyphonic experiences in the city of Genoa, it performs concert activities with monographic projects.
Francesco Lambertini
Founder and director of various choral groups such as the “Polyphoniae Studium”, the “Modern Polyphonic Choir”, the “Chamber Choir of the Carlo Felice Theater” in Genoa, with which he performs concert activities, participation in competitions and festivals and recording of some CD.
Since 2012 he has been the musical director of the “Simone Molinaro Ensemble” within the Carlo Felice theater and since 2014 the “Choir of the Colombo Classical Lyceum”.
In the last season he has concerted and directed the cantata “The nightingale of the doge” with music by the living composer Raffaele Cecconi on a subject dedicated to Stradella by Marco Romagnoli.
As for future commitments, Bach’s sonatas for viola da gamba and harpsichord, the complete performance of Ludus Danielis and John Rutter’s Requiem with the Collegium Vocal Immacolata, as well as a series of dedicated commemorative concerts are about to be recorded to the late composer Romeo Lebole.
